COLON BOMB™ - DIGESTION COMPLEX

Some might claim we live in a toxic age because of additives in our food, pesticides on our crops, and pollution all around us. All that buildup of toxins can negatively affect digestion and overall health. When your colon is clogged up with toxins, your entire body becomes sluggish and incapable of performing its daily tasks. Fortunately, your body naturally detoxifies itself on a regular basis; however, some toxins require some assistance for removal.

When you stop to think about it, detoxifying your body isn't that difficult. When it comes to toxins, we sometimes need something more when it comes to eating a healthy diet and exercising regularly. Removing the toxins is a simple process but a necessary one. Sometimes it is as simple as drinking more water and other times you need a bit of help from our friend the Colon BombTM

COLON BOMB™ - DIGESTION COMPLEX INGREDIENTS PANEL

Oats (seed) - Oats are one of the healthiest grains on earth. They're a gluten-free whole grain that's loaded with vitamins, minerals, fiber, and antioxidants. There are numerous health benefits associated with oats. Weight loss, lower blood sugar levels, and a reduced risk of heart disease are just some of the benefits.

A type of soluble fiber, beta-glucan, is abundant in oats. In the gut, beta-glucan partially dissolves in water and forms a thick, gel-like solution. This provides many health benefits:

  • Lower LDL and total cholesterol levels [1]
  • Reduced blood sugar levels and insulin response [2]
  • Relieve symptoms of Constipation [3][4]
  • Increased growth of good bacteria in the digestive tract [5]

Alfalfa (leaf) - Alfalfa contributes to the health of the digestive tract in many ways, most notably that it is high in fructo-oligosaccharides, which fertilize and feed the good bacteria in the gut, probiotics. In addition, this will help to neutralize bad bacteria (such as Candida), which can lead to a variety of health problems. [6][7]

Ayurvedic medicine has long used alfalfa to treat inflammation and oxidative damage. Alfalfa has some powerful antioxidant properties, since it inhibits oxidative stress damage caused by free radicals. In particular, alfalfa reduces cell death and DNA damage caused by free radicals. It accomplishes this by both lowering the production of free radicals and enhancing the body's ability to fight them. [8][9][10][11]

Psyllium (Husk) - Fiber derived from the husks of Plantago ovata plants is called psyllium. Laxatives are often made from it. Nevertheless, research shows that taking psyllium is beneficial to many parts of the human body, including the heart and pancreas. [12]

Bulking laxatives like psyllium absorb water in the gut and make bowel movements easier. It can aid in maintaining regularity without increasing flatulence. It can be used as a one-off to ease constipation, or it can be incorporated into your diet to improve regularity and digestive health. [13][14]

The prebiotic psyllium is necessary for the growth of healthy probiotic colonies in the gut. The digestive system needs a healthy colony of good bacteria for a healthy immune system. It is easier for your body to fight infection, reduce inflammation, and maintain healthy cells and tissues. [15][16][17]

Lactobacillus acidophilus - The human gut and other parts of the body naturally contain this probiotic bacterium. Lactic acid is formed when sugars in the digestive system, such as lactose, are broken down by this bacterium. The production of this lactic acid helps prevents harmful bacteria from colonizing the intestines. Lactic acid also ensures the lining of the intestines stays intact. [18][19][20]

Rhubarb (root) - Rhubarb is high in antioxidants, especially anthocyanins (which give it its red color) and proanthocyanidins. Antioxidants protect against many health-related conditions, including heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, due to their anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-cancer properties. The Chinese have long used rhubarb as an antibacterial, anti-inflammatories, and fibrotic, and anticancer medicine. [21][22][23]

Gentian Root - Medicinal plants are made from the root and bark of the plant, although the latter is less common. The herb gentian is used to treat digestive problems such as loss of appetite, bloating, diarrhea, and heartburn. In addition, it prevents muscle spasms and controls fever.

The bitter herb ginger is thought to help digestion by increasing saliva production and promoting digestion by stimulating stomach acid and digestive enzymes. Herbs that are bitter are thought to stimulate digestion by increasing saliva production and by promoting stomach acid and digestive enzyme production. [24][25][26][27][28]

Aloe Vera (Leaf) - A 2018 review examined three studies involving 151 participants. Compared to a placebo, aloe vera significantly improved symptoms of IBS. It was reported that no adverse effects occurred, but more research is needed using a larger study sample. Additionally, aloe vera may limit the growth of H. Pylori bacteria in your digestive tract, which can cause ulcers. This supports an overall improvement in gut health. [29

Cascara Sagrada (bark) - Constipation is the primary use of cascara sagrada. Anthraquinones found in the bark inhibit intestinal absorption of electrolytes and water. As a result, stool volume increases as water is absorbed, increasing pressure in the intestines. The action of this stimulates the contraction of muscles in the colon (peristalsis), speeding up the bowel movement. [30]

Goldenseal (root) - There is some evidence to suggest that goldenseal can assist in detoxifying the body. This is accomplished by converting toxic substances into harmless ones in your liver or ensuring they're excreted from your body through urine and sweat. Goldenseal may reduce the activity of certain liver enzymes involved in drug metabolism. [31][32][33][34]

Buckthorn (bark) - Bark aids in the body's natural detoxification process. Natural remedies for constipation and other digestive issues include anthraquinones, which have laxative properties. These compounds help shape stools into larger, softer volumes, which can ease bowel movements. [35]

For centuries, anthraquinone derivatives have been used as laxatives, antimicrobials, and anti-inflammatory drugs. Constipation, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, and cancer are among the current therapeutic indications. [36]

Bentonite - Bentonite clay is used primarily for detoxifying the body by supporting many different processes. It helps remove heavy metals from the body. The bentonite acts as an antibacterial and fights against various diseases and pathogens.  It also contains a range of nutrients. Among the minerals found in Bentonite clay are calcium, magnesium, silica, sodium, copper, iron, and potassium. [37]

Toxic substances that we encounter every day, such as paint, cleaning supplies, markers, substances used in building homes, low-quality, unpurified water, and even pesticides, can be reduced by Bentonite. [38]
